Traditional Thai massage – Wat Po style

Thai massage incorporates kneading of the muscles, mobilising the joints and manipulating massage points along the “Thai 10 massage lines”. Applying pressure to these lines stimulates the flow of internal energy (also known as the wind element) within the body.

The aim of Thai massage is to release toxins and waste materials from the joints, muscles and connective tissue, and stimulate internal organs by applying pressure on these specific energy points.
It can also help to relieve fatigue, muscular cramping and nervous tension.  It aims to maintain suppleness in the muscles and joints and stimulates blood and lymphatic circulation for physical fitness improvement.
